Mill Creek’s West Coast developments are gaining traction with our first development in Southern California: Nexus on Central. The community will consist of 235 apartment homes in a six-story complex with subterranean parking on a 1.67 acre site. The community will offer studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments ranging in square footage from 620 square feet to 1,499 square feet.
The community is ideally situated at the gateway of the City of Glendale just 10 miles north of Downtown Los Angeles between Burbank and Pasadena. The third-largest city in LA County, Glendale is home to nearly 250,000 people and a daytime working population of 80,000. Nexus on Central is exceptionally well-located in Glendale, with excellent freeway access and visibility from the Ventura Freeway. It is accessed from the 134 Ventura Freeway that serves the adjacent commercial business district, including Glendale Galleria mall, and the new high-end Americana at Brand mall. The Galleria and Americana malls are anchored by many top retailers including Nordstrom, Macy’s, Tiffany’s, Abercrombie & Fitch, Apple, Ann Taylor, JC Penney, Target and Pacific Theaters.
The development will be one building with 5 levels of residential flats and features 5th floor penthouse units that include second story mezzanines. The residences will be constructed on top of a two-level concrete parking garage. The lower level of the parking garage will be subterranean with an upper garage level at grade.
